Terms of Service
Last updated: March 25, 2026
1. Agreement
By using ShipLogs ("the Service"), operated by Xdge Technologies LLC, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
ShipLogs is a GitHub App that generates AI-powered changelogs from your merged pull requests. The Service includes a web dashboard, GitHub Release drafting, and optional Slack integration.
3. Account & Access
- You must have a GitHub account to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your GitHub account credentials.
- You must have the necessary permissions to install the GitHub App on the repositories you select.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits or plan restrictions (e.g., creating multiple free accounts)
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the Service's source code
- Use the Service to process data you do not have the right to access
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
5. Your Content
You retain all rights to your code, pull request data, and generated changelogs. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to access your repository data solely for the purpose of generating changelogs and operating the Service.
Generated changelogs are only accessible to authenticated users with access to the corresponding repository.
6. Plans & Billing
- Free tier usage is subject to the limits described on our pricing page.
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe.
- All paid plans include a 14-day money-back guarantee.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions are honored at their current rate until the next renewal.
7. AI-Generated Content
Changelogs are generated using AI (Anthropic's Claude API). While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing generated changelogs before publishing or distributing them.
8. Service Availability
We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service depends on third-party providers (GitHub, Anthropic, Supabase, Vercel) and may be affected by their outages. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party service disruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xdge Technologies LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and uninstall the GitHub App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but you may request a copy of your data.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the Service.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
